Like many people, I have always loved the little knick knacks Target has for home decor. They have continued to up their home decor game and have recently even exceeded in furniture. I have recently come to realize that our home is filled with a lot of Target finds.

A recent purchase this past week made a light bulb go off- why not share what items I have and love!

Let’s start with a disclaimer- not everything from Target is great. Just like not everything from a super expensive store will be great. An expensive price tag does NOT equate to quality and the same can go for a low price tag. I scour the internet for good home decor items. We are still slowly ‘building’ our home. We came from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house that needed to be fully furnished. We are not furnishing it overnight and we want to choose pieces that will last. I have seen items that cost almost $1,000 and the reviews all state how it is terrible quality and breaks right away. On the flip side, I’ve seen the same type of item elsewhere that goes for half the price and it has 5 star reviews. Moral of the story, don’t expect everything to be great from Target but also don’t knock it just because it’s Target. Ok, back to the regularly scheduled program.

The Hearth and Hand by Magnolia has some of my favorite pieces every season. I tend to browse anytime new pieces are released just to see if there is anything that sticks out and works as an item we have been needing. More recently, Studio McGee has teamed up with Target’s brand Threshold as Threshold w/Studio McGee which now always seems to have some great decorative accents. The furniture that Target also now carries on their site is a long catalog of different styles and items to fit your home. These items can be comparable or also found on other home sites and I’ve often found that the best prices are actually on Target.

I show all of the items in one photo at the end to easily save to Pinterest or your phone! Ok, let’s get into them!

Furniture

We only have a couple pieces of furniture from Target but they are perfect for our coastal farmhouse styled home.

Our media console in our living room was cheaper on Target than any other site. I saw it a few places and I am glad we ordered from Target.
Another console table I got which was my most recent purchase is a Hearth and Hand with Magnolia piece. It is actually the first furniture piece I got from their line and I am very pleased. We needed a minimal piece for under a TV in our spare room. It needed to be long enough for our sound bar but not too deep because it would interfere with walking in from the doorway. I also didn’t want anything bulky. We will be getting a couch (stillll waiting since October) that pulls out so this room can be the guest room but it will mostly be our workout room, which is what we use it for now, and another spot to hang/play video games/watch TV. Filling it up with too many big pieces of furniture would just ruin the space. I also didn’t want to spend an arm and leg. I searched high and low for a few months and when I saw this console table, that was it! It is NOT styled (and this room is still not fully complete) but we already used it to play some classic N64 over the long Presidents Day Weekend!
Our patio conversion set is perfect for a small deck, patio, or backyard.
Our Adirondack chairs are two items that we used a ton this summer and continued to use into the fall now that we have our fire pit!

Home Decor Accents

I have gotten different accent pieces for throughout the house and have come to find that they are staples in our house! They may be small but these items really make the rooms feel more complete. Our home decor accent pieces include, a wire basket, a tray, a throw blanket, bathroom canister, bathroom wastebasket, and decorative poofs. We either prop our feet up on the poofs while sitting on our couch or sit on them when we are in our spare room until the couch comes.

Kitchen and Dining

The more we live in our house, the more I realize I don’t have the proper ‘entertaining items’ for snacking or dinners. At one point, all we had for salsa or dips like that were small Pyrex bowls. I love having a cute set up for hosting so I picked up some small ceramic bowls and a matching tray.

I was given these Hearth and Hand with Magnolia mugs as a gift and absolutely love them! They are my go to for my morning coffee!

Bedding

I recently got these oversized Euro pillows for decorative purposes for our king bed. They are a dupe for Restoration Hardware pillows and insanely affordable compared to the RH ones! The blanket on the end of the bed is actually Target as well but about 4 or 5 years old.

Do you have any of these pieces or have you been eyeing any of them?
