I found mini wreaths online in the beginning of November that I loved for a GREAT price ($12 each) and ordered them immediately. I envisioned them hanging inside our large back windows and was so excited to get them all set up. After looking at a few different ways to hang them up, I found that this was the most simple, and safest way to hang a wreath on a window.

Before I hop into it, I do want to mention that the wreaths I fell in love with and ordered online were Hearth and Hand by Magnolia wreaths at Target. They took over 2 weeks to ship out (which is very unlike Target) and when my shipment finally arrived with a few other things I ordered at the same time, no wreaths were found. It seems they sold out everywhere even though I was able to order them, and they said they were shipped and delivered. I thankfully got my money back but now it was the week of Thanksgiving and I knew most things had to be sold out if the ones I ordered right at the beginning of November had sold out immediately. I was thankfully able to find some wreaths that were an even cheaper price but I will say they do not look as great as the ones from Target did…or at least as good as they looked in the photos since I never even saw one in person.

Ok, let’s get back to it!

How to hang these wreaths is actually quite simple!

What You’ll Need:

Suction Cup Hooks

Ribbon (I used 1 inch velvet ribbon in vintage blue)

Mini Wreaths (exact wreaths I used are from Joann Fabrics)

Steps

1. Pop the suction cup on the window in desired location (Tip: it’s best to have it hide under curtains or blinds)

2. Measure how low you’d like the wreath to be with ribbon

3. Cut the ribbon to desired length and then cut the rest of the ribbon to be equal lengths

4. Loop the ribbon around the wreath (or through the ring if one is provided) and tie around the suction cup hook

5. ALL DONE!

I decided to put our wreaths a bit higher because we have a very curious 2 year old but I love the look of the ribbon being just as a focal point as the wreath!

I can’t wait to see you try this easy Christmas DIY!
