Easter has come and gone and I of course didn’t get this post up in time (major face palm). But at least it’s only one day late!
Oh, and I of course didn’t get around to decorating any eggs this year- ugh! I did create some fun eggs last year and did have some pretty floral ideas for eggs this year…so I guess I’m already ready for Easter 2021 eggs.
I was recently featured in an article online at PARADE Magazine and am so excited to share it with you! My ‘Happy Easter’ egg is featured as one of the ways you can decorate an easter egg without dying it and it was such a fun one to create. I made these eggs with white ink and a nib. Traditional pointed pen calligraphy! It may seem weird to do that on an egg but it really makes for a beautiful designs. The design is slightly raised because of the thicks and thins of the ink and the white ink with a brown egg is one of my favorite neutral palettes!
There are so many beautiful designs featured in that article so be sure take a look at all of them! Have you decorated eggs in a way that’s different than dying them? I would love to know what you’re favorite way to decorate eggs is!
