With Christmas days away, I wanted to share some fun, easy cocktails to make for your gatherings! A bonus is that these can easily be made into mocktails too. There are no difficult, fancy recipes here, but they’ll LOOK fancy and that’s really the main goal, right?!

Cranberry Prosecco

Ingredients:
A pretty glass (I opted for something fun like this coup glass)
Sugar rim
Cranberry ice cubes
Prosecco (or Champagne or Seltzer)
Rosemary Sprig

The only thing that needs to be made ahead for this recipe are the cranberry ice cubes. Just put fresh cranberries in ice cube trays, fill with water, pop in the freezer, and that’s it!

Recipe:

Get the rim of the glass wet (water is fine!) and dip in a plate full of sugar. Add cranberry ice cubes to the glass. Pour Prosecco (or Champagne or Seltzer) into glass and add a rosemary sprig for garnish.

Christmas Margarita

Ingredients:
Cocktail or rocks glass (found these for $5 in Target!)
Sugar in the raw
Tequila
Seltzer
Cranberry juice
Limes
Half a lime squeezed
Slice of lime for garnish

This is technically more of just a tequila cocktail but it’s always fun to just call them margaritas!

Recipe:

Take a lime wedge around the rim of the glass then dip it in a plate full of sugar in the raw. Add ice, 1 shot of tequila, seltzer, and splash of cranberry. Top it off with squeezing a half a lime, stir and enjoy!

Cold Brew Chocolate Martini

Ingredients:
Hazelnut Mocha Cold Brew
Titos Vodka
Crushed candy canes
Chocolate Syrup
Vanilla Oatmilk

I am dairy free so this recipe specifically has ingredients to only make it dairy free but you can definitely substitute for dairy ingredients instead of non-dairy.

We also have the best local coffee shop that makes the best real coffee and cold brew. I chose their Hazelnut Mocha but any of their flavors would work so well for a cold brew martini!

Since it’s cold brew, it could also be perfect for New Years Eve because I can’t be the only one who needs help just to stay up past 9pm, right?!

Recipe:

Dip rim of glass into a plate of chocolate syrup and then into crushed candy canes (sugar in the raw is a good rim garnish for this one too!). Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of the glass. Add 1 shot of Titos vodka, fill 1/3 of glass with cold brew, pour in vanilla oatmilk (to desired milk to coffee ratio), mix, and enjoy!

Those are the 3 I thought of and created! I want to try to make one with fresh oranges next year so I’ll have to think of some yummy ingredients for one. What’s your favorite cocktails for the holiday season?
