We have done outdoor movie nights the past few summers and there is something about watching a movie under the stars during a hot, humid night that just hits different.
This year, our friends bought a giant blow up screen and projector and we got to watch movies while on vacation in Deep Creek Lake, cozied up in blankets and sweatshirts while eating fresh popcorn and candy from Candyland (a favorite, secret, hidden gem in Deep Creek).
Our tv’s are currently all hung up on the walls so it’s not easy to grab one down for an outdoor movie night anymore but I do still have my iPad that we can quickly set up for a movie! We did this recently and it still made for a cute little movie night while watching the perfect throwback summer movie.
Both ways have been such fun, memorable nights. Any way you decide to set up your outdoor movie night, it’s sure to be a nice evening that feels like you put more effort in than just sitting on the couch but really it’s minimal effort- so a win, win!
