We have had all of the blinds in our house since we moved in…and who knows how long they were in this house before that! They are old and discolored and are all in need of a major refresh but the cost just hasn’t been in the budget. We decided that when we were ready to start looking for new blinds, we would start with the 4 large back windows and update those blinds for a different look. I had the idea that the back windows would have the bamboo type of shades in a natural color to warm up the space and then the rest of the windows in the house would have faux wood blinds in white.
We were finally ready to get the blinds for the 4 large back windows and I found that Home Depot had the best selection of cordless bamboo shades. These bamboo shades have a lot of customization for sizing and is such an affordable price! We chose the 72in length and chose the width of our windows which was 31in, in the color Honey.
I was nervous they would have too much orange in them but they don’t at all! It’s the perfect natural, neutral color to warm up the space and still give our coastal home feel. They were all very easy to install and only took a few minutes each. The cost seems like a steal for how great they look and how well made they are!
